Starting line gets closer for Leeds 10k Corporate Challenge

SET to be one of the biggest events yet for the Leeds 10k Corporate Challenge, race day is fast approaching with hundreds already signed up.

Sunday 10 July will be the 10th time that Clarion has been involved in the race, and participants are being urged to get their trainers on and get running.

At the end of May more than 500 entrants had already signed up.

A spokesperson for Chadwick Lawrence said: “The Leeds 10k Clarion Corporate Challenge is now pretty much a fixed item on the Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors calendar of events.

“Not only is it an expertly organised event it gives Chadwick Lawrence colleagues a good reason to get together with each other and raise money for worthy causes at the same time.

“We usually have a bite to eat and a few drinks together afterwards whilst nursing our aching limbs and it proves to be a great team builder.”

A spokesperson for NHS Shared Business Services said: “NHS Shared Business Services Leeds office are delighted to participate in the Leeds 10k race for the fourth consecutive year.

“As a business, we encourage each office to choose a charity of the year every year and this year the Leeds office will be raising funds for their local children’s hospital. An inspiring and rewarding day for all, the team look forward to beating their times while also working together as a team towards fundraising for a good cause. “

Teams from Grant Thornton, Armstrong Watson, Esh Construction, Handelsbanken, KPMG, Squire Patton Boggs, Endless, as well as Shulmans, Bevan Brittan and RSM have already signed up.
