Law firm offices complete following £44m sale

THE development at 3 Sovereign Square, the new home of Addleshaw Goddard has been completed.

This follows on the heels of its recent sale to Leeds City Council for £43.75m.

Construction was finished by joint venture developers Bruntwood and Kier Property. It will house law firm Addleshaw Goddard who are making a phased move from across the road. They are due to be fully moved in at the end of November.

The firm is taking on 59,756 sq ft whilst a further 25,044 sq ft across the top two floors of the building is on the market.

Retail operators have been secured for two out of the four units. Agents are looking third unit under offer. The last remaining unit stands at 2,993 sq ft and overlooks the newly completed Sovereign Square lending itself to a bar/ restaurant operator.

3 Sovereign Square was designed by architects Sheppard Robson and delivered by Kier Construction.

In late 2015 work was completed on KPMG’s building at 1 Sovereign Square, totalling 61,250 sq ft.
