Jukebox manufacturer acquired by US entertainment group

Leeds digital jukebox manufacturer NSM Music Group has been acquired by a 100 year-old US entertainment group.

AMI Entertainment Network, which supplies music and video entertainment to nightclubs and bars across the UK, has bought the business. It is based in grand Rapids, Michigan.

NSM’s acquisition will allow the US firm to expand its product range and customer base in Europe. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“The day-to-day operations of NSM Music Ltd. will not change,” said Martin Agabeg, NSM Music’s general manager.

“We’ll continue to support all customers from our headquarters in Leeds, England, offering the same great products, music, quality of service, and business model framework that European customers value.”

Mike Maas, AMI Entertainment Network’s president said: “This is an exciting moment for both entertainment networks, AMI and NSM, two companies rich in innovation and tradition.”
