Traffic Alert: Severe delays on M62 near Leeds

There are currently delays of up to 90 minutes on the M62 and M621 westbound in West Yorkshire.

A collision has caused two lanes of the M62 between J27 and J26 to close.

Traffic is able to pass the scene in two lanes, however due to the delays it is advised that drivers leave plenty of extra travelling time and to consider alternative routes where possible.

Highways England has said it expects traffic conditions to return to normal at around 7.15pm.
