IBI becomes latest tenant at Cube
MULTI-disciplinary consultancy firm IBI Group has become the latest company to move into The Cube in Birmingham.
IBI’s nine-strong team has taken a 2,400 sq ft, eighth floor office on a 10-year lease for an undisclosed rent.
The company was based in Newhall Street and has now completed the move across to its new home.
Technical consultant for IBI Gareth Tyler said: “Architecture is one of IBI’s specialisms and we regularly have clients coming up from across the country.
“It was important for us to not only find a location that was central and provided us with good transport links, but that was also going to be a great representation for our company.
“One of our main clients, the Highways Agency, is based in the building, which is convenient.”
Enlisting the help of the architectural side of the company in Canada, the firm benefited from purpose designing their office space from scratch, customising it to suit their needs.
The office will be home to a small team of permanent staff but its open plan design allows the possibility for future expansion.
Mr Tyler added: “The team are really excited to be here, especially with The Cube steadily coming to life week by week.
“There are new residents moving in and we’re particularly looking forward to taking clients to the stunning Marco Pierre White rooftop restaurant when it opens later this year.”
Cube director Neil Edginton said: “We’re delighted to welcome IBI. Now is a very exciting time for us as we continue to welcome a steady stream of residential and commercial tenants into the building.”
