Expansion a breeze as air conditioning firm relocates following funding deal
A West Midlands air conditioning company is expanding into larger premises afyer agreeing a new funding deal.
Braywhite & Co, which has been in business for 50 years, needed the additional capacity to meet growing demand for its services.
Funding for the new deal was supplied by Barclays.
Braywhite & Co used the finance package to purchase a half-acre site in Cato Street, Birmingham. The new site will allow the company to expand and grow the business having won several new maintenance contracts and grown their existing contracts with clients including Jaguar Land Rover, the University of Birmingham, University of Warwick, Telford College, several NHS hospitals and Aston Villa FC, as well as many small local businesses.
In addition to the extra space, the new site offers better vehicular access and will allow the business to operate more efficiently.
Braywhite & Co provides commercial air conditioning units, refrigeration and heating to schools, universities and hospitals as well as a full maintenance service. It employs 45 staff and has a growing fleet of 25 vehicles.
The business is owned and run by managing director Faisal Lone, who is a qualified accountant with 20 years of experience in the business and finance industry. His partner is Mohammed Khan, who serves as Operations Director.
They bought the business from its previous owners less than three years ago. Mohammed has been with the business since he joined as an apprentice 25 years ago and has worked his way through the ranks to run the service side of the business. Faisal runs the sales and new business operations.
Faisal Lone said: “The company is seeing three-fold growth which has required us to move to new premises in order to accommodate this growth. We are fortunate in that we have a dedicated workforce, who offer a great service to our clients and has ultimately resulted in the recent contract wins and renewals.”
