Political journalist to host Rainmaker Awards

Political journalist Nina Warhurst has been confirmed as the host of next month’s Yorkshire Rainmaker Awards.

Warhurst, who has hosted the previous two awards dinners, presents the Sunday Politics show in the North West, where she is the BBC’s political editor.

The 2017 event is at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, on Thursday, June 22.

The shortlist has already been announced for the 2017 awards, having been decided by a panel of more than 20 judges from the corporate finance community.

With a multitude of deals to consider, including IPOs, secondary buyouts, private equity exits and more, the panel of high-level judges had a lot to discuss.

Each company in the corporate finance community has been given one vote, with the voting deadline fast approaching.
