Former Brilliant staff launch Zeal

DIGITAL marketing agency Zeal has been launched in Leeds by a trio of former Brilliant Media staff.

The company has already won nine clients and is close to recruiting two new staff to join Martin Corr, Jane Slimming and Mike Jacques.

Jane Slimming said: “We made the decision to start Zeal digital after becoming frustrated at the way big agencies serviced clients and approached online marketing.

“We have a real passion to help all sizes of businesses unlock the power of online and not deliberately baffle them with technology or hide behind complex data.

“Some people questioned why Martin and I would leave secure well paid jobs to start our own company in this unstable economic climate. Clients are becoming increasingly demanding of their agencies, not only do they want to see results but they expect a fantastic level of service – the economic climate has intensified this requirement – providing an opportunity for hard working service orientated agencies that can produce results.”

Based in the Round Foundry Media Centre, the company boasts expertise in a range of marketing channels fom search engine optimisation and pay per click to affiliate marketing and display activity.

Zeal has also launched two brands – Zeal White and Zeal Light. Zeal White helps other agencies fill gaps in their service while Zeal Light aims at SMEs reluctant to pay a monthly agency fee.
