Yorkshire Crisps bags supermarket deal

HANDMADE crisp company Yorkshire Crisps has won a contract to supply Sainsbury's stores across the region.

The supermarket has just placed its first order with the South Yorkshire-based company and is now stocking 50g bags of Natural Sea Salt and Henderson's Yorkshire Sauce flavours in 17 stores.

The crisps will be delivered direct to the stores, avoiding delivery to a central distribution hub ensuring Yorkshire Crisps' food miles are kept low.
