Video gaming lounge to open in Nottingham

A new ‘gaming lounge’ is set to open in Hockley, Nottingham at the end of April.
[ALT] Video Gaming Lounge, (ALT) will offer video game stations along with a selection of craft beers and ciders and street food. ALT will be the first of its kind in the Midlands.
ALT will also be home to an immersive Call Of Duty experience involving a virtual reality motion platform, the first of its kind in Nottingham. There will also be a Console LAN Area, made up of custom built high end gaming PCs, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Consoles, and a specialist Retro Area with a selection of retro consoles, including the SEGA Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, SNES, PlayStation 1 and Original Xbox where gamers can play on all of their old favourites.
Jack Shakespeare of FHP concluded the letting. He said: Thanks to initiatives such as the Creative Quarter which nurture creative businesses, Hockley has become one of the most desirable places to operate in Nottingham for this type of concept. I think [ALT] will appeal to all
types of gamers, from the more hardcore, to families looking for a chilled day out and the guys and girls who enjoy Fifa with their mates and few beers.”
