Leicester firm to double scaffolding division
Leicester energy saving firm BillSaveUK is set to double its scaffolding division after landing a number of recent contract wins.
The firm employed 10 people in its scaffolding division at the end of 2016, but having recently secured long-term scaffolding contracts from two of the UK’s largest housebuilders, BillSaveUK has added a further four full-time employees to its field-based team and is currently recruiting for another six – bringing its total headcount, including office-based staff, to 25.
The new roles are for experienced scaffolders to work on new build sites mainly across the East and West Midlands. The immediate work requirement is to service a number of long-term contracts for 200 or 300-plot developments, each with multiple phases.
Derek Marsden, operations manager at BillSaveUK, said: “Our scaffolding division has over 30 years’ experience. Historically our work focussed on a handful of long-standing clients, but following the launch of BillSaveUK 18 months ago, word has spread about our capabilities. And now, thanks to our new contract wins we’re extremely excited about recruiting for a larger, full-time workforce.”
