Robert Woodhead appointed to £8bn housing panel

Robert Woodhead has been named as one of the construction companies selected to deliver the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) multi-billion pound Delivery Partner Panel.
The HCA has this week unveiled its preferred housing developers and contractors to deliver £8bn of residential led development programs on public sector land over the next four years through the Delivery Partner Panel (DPP).
Robert Woodhead has been selected after a procurement exercise to cover the Midlands and the North East Yorkshire and Humberside regions.
In its first and second generations the Delivery Partner Panel, created by the HCA, has delivered over 43,500 homes, through 258 schemes over seven years.
Leo Woodhead, the DPP3 strategic lead for Robert Woodhead, said: “We have been delivering housing led development schemes for many years for both public sector clients and for private market sale. DPP3 gives us the opportunity, as partners, to improve housing delivery within the areas we currently operate by focusing on social value, creating innovative design and delivery solutions whilst striving to answer the local housing need.”
Robert Woodhead is currently working on a range of public sector housing schemes across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.
Woodhead added: “The panel will help strengthen our position as a housing developer and as a building contractor across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. As a family owned and operated business, this is the next step of our continued growth strategy and will have a significant impact locally as we will continue to use our growing local supply chain, to help us deliver projects procured through DPP3.”
