Fastest-growing tech companies in the East Midlands revealed

Four East Midlands companies have been named in an influential report which shows some of the fastest-growing firms in the tech and media sectors.

Published this weekend, the 19th annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales.

All four companies are based in Nottinghamshire.

Among them is Nottingham-based Lockwood Publishing, a mobile games developer which has created an online community through its virtual world Avakin Life. Sales hit £17.9m in 2019, 95% of which are from overseas, primarily the US, Brazil and Russia.

The others are Bingham-based telecoms company Light Source, consumer finance firm Oakbrook and energy software provider ENSEK.
