Jobs to be created as national retailers set to open Nottingham stores

The former Toys ‘R’ Us units on Riverside Retail Park is to be refurbished and occupied by national retailers, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
The 43,000 sq ft unit has been empty since Toys ‘R’ Us fell into administration last April.
Now, Home Bargains and JD Sports are set to move into the retail park in a move that will see the huge former toy store split into three smaller premises. Negotations remain ongoing with a third retailer.
This will be Home Bargains’ first store in Nottingham. JD Sports has two outlets in the city centre, and it is though these will stay open.
The former Toys ‘R’ Us unit was built in 1992.
