New MD for Wildgoose
Wildgoose Construction has promoted its commercial director to managing director with the full backing of its board and shareholders.
Andrew Tilford began his career at Wimpey Construction as a quantity surveyor before joining Morgan Sindall in 2001. He spent 12 years with the company, becoming commercial director for its North East construction business before moving to Interserve Support Services in 2012, where he was commercial director of infrastructure and industrial.
Prior to joining Derbyshire-based Wildgoose, Tilford worked as part of Skanska’s £300 million infrastructure services business for six years.
He said: “I am very pleased to be given this opportunity. The company has a strong reputation and my challenge is to build and strengthen that further. Wildgoose have an excellent portfolio of work with good long-term client relationships, an established supply chain and talented teams. I look forward to playing an active leadership role in the business’s next phase of development and evolution.”
