Double deal sees 47,000 sq ft let at Castle Park

Commercial Property Partners and Innes England have completed a pair of deals amounting to 47,000 sq ft at Castle Park in Nottingham.

The properties have been let to civil engineering business Via East Midlands and a cosmetics distribution company.

Via East Midlands, which is owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and looks after the county’s network of over 4,100 kilometres of roads, has taken a 14,000 sq ft unit on the industrial estate. It will use the site as a vehicle maintenance depot after its previous location in West Bridgford was sold for redevelopment.

The unnamed cosmetics distributor, meanwhile, has moved into a recently refurbished 33,000 sq ft premises.

CPP’s Sean Bremner said: “Securing the deals within these two units is great for the scheme.

“The location and accessibility to both the inner and outer ring roads of the city is tantamount to Castle Park’s success in attracting high calibre occupiers.”

Scott Osborne, associate director at Innes England, added: “Castle Park has a wide range of occupiers with a variety of uses, such as storage and distribution, as well as trade-counter operations, and it is also in an excellent location on one of the main routes in the city.

“These lettings confirm the continued demand for well-appointed, modern warehouse accommodation within the East Midlands and the strength of the industrial market.”
