Former leisure centre site let to retailer

The former Creswell Leisure Centre site in Nottinghamshire has been let out to the retailer One Stop.
The deal was completed on behalf of BB&J Commercial’s clients Chevin, who will be transforming the property into a purpose-built unit for the convenience store.
Mark Richardson, partner at BB&J, which brokered the deak, said: “BB&J Commercial are delighted to have agreed the letting of what will be a brand-new purpose-built unit to One Stop Stores on behalf of our clients Chevin who are building it out to One Stop’s requirements. One Stop are part of the Tesco’s group and have over 900 convenience stores across the UK providing valuable local shopping facilities. I’m sure they will provide an excellent service to the Creswell community.
“The last few years have seen a decided shift in favour of local and more regular convenience food shopping, with there being less demand for the larger out of town stores. As a result, BB&J Commercial are always looking out for opportunities to sell or let store opportunities across the Midlands region.”
