Aon reveals senior appointment in Leicester
Professional services firm has appointed Samantha Taylor to the role of head of office for commercial risk solutions in Leicester.
Taylor takes on the role from Paul Winrow, who remains with Aon as head of office for both Sheffield and Leeds.
Taylor started her career with Aon 27 years ago, focusing on trade credit solutions. She left to build her experience across the general insurance market, specialising in insolvency and restructuring. She rejoined Aon in 2018 to set up its national insolvency and restructuring business, providing general insurance, M&A and risk management solutions to insolvency practitioners.
“I am looking forward to bringing my years of client and leadership experience to Leicester and the East Midlands,” said Taylor.
She added: “The business has flourished under Paul Winrow’s tenure, and it is my responsibility to ensure that we continue that growth, reach more local businesses and keep our focus on our existing clients’ needs – something we are renowned for.”
Taylor will report to Dan Hopkinson, managing director, commercial risk UK, North.
