Professional services firms invest six-figure sum in move to larger Nottingham offices

Three professional services businesses – law firm Shakespeare Martineau, planning, design, heritage and development consultancy Marrons, and M&A advisory firm Coadax – are relocating their Nottingham office.
The firms, which are part of top 50 legal and professional services group Ampa, are set to relocate from their current ground-floor space at Waterfront House, Station Street, to a newly-refurbished larger third-floor office in the same building.
The new 8,680 sq ft office – up from 7,180 sq ft – will provide space for more than 110 people.
A six-figure investment is being made into the fit-out of the new space, which is due to open in early summer.
Roger Harcourt, partner and head of the Nottingham office, said: “This move reflects our commitment to our people and Nottingham. We want to create a dynamic and future-ready workplace that enhances our employee and East Midlands client experiences.
“We’re not going far – just upstairs – but the change will be transformative in how we use our space, interact as a firm and deliver for our clients. We remain absolutely committed to Nottingham for the long term and this investment underlines that.”
Andrew Gore, partner head of Marrons in Nottingham, added: “Our new space gives us the flexibility to think bigger and work better – not only with each other, but with the growing network of clients and partners we support across the East Midlands.
“It’s a modern, creative environment that truly reflects the work we do and the values we hold as a team. We’re excited to continue growing in Nottingham and welcome more people into our space as we expand.”
