Bishop leaves FHP to go it alone

One of the East Midlands’ best-known property agents has left FHP to set up his own business.

Jonathan Bishop has left the firm to establish Bishop Property Consultants.

Bishop first joined FHP in 1994, and rejoined the firm after seven years in 2011 to set up a new corporate services department which worked with a range of public and private sector clients, including fire authorities, ambulance trusts and major businesses.

During this time he worked with clients including Specsavers, Experian, John Deere and Samworth Brothers.

Inbetween these times, he was one of the founder equity partners of Nottingham boutique property agency Heb, which he left in 2011.

It is thought that Bishop will continue working with Samworth Brothers in his new venture

John Proctor, director at FHP, said: “It was an amicable decision on both sides, and we realised Jonathan felt he needed a new challenge and wanted to go off and do his own thing with Samworth Brothers.

“We wish Jonathan all the best for the future. “
