Workplatform access Castle Donington

Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has sold Unit 7B at Castle Donington’s Willow Farm Business Park, on behalf of client, Newcore Capital.

The 30,500 sq ft warehouse, previously occupied by Amazon, was placed under offer within just two weeks of being on the market by CPP.

The property has been sold Workplatform, an approved dealer for Genie, the access platform manufacturer.

Sean Bremner, partner at CPP said: “We knew that this property would prove popular, reflected by the number of enquiries we received and the number of viewings we carried out upon its introduction to the market. The location is always popular due to the excellent transport connections and the opportunity to buy in the freehold interest made this an attractive property.

“Workplatform reacted immediately upon viewing the property and both vendor and buyer conducted themselves immaculately during the conveyance period.

“I wish Workplatform Limited every success in this new property. The unit provides their business with a fantastic profile and I am sure they will continue to move from strength to strength.”

Jonathan Hull of Workplatform said: “We are delighted to have secured this property which provides a great fit for our business strategy moving forward. It is a well-recognised premier location, which reflects the quality of our business. We knew we had to move quickly to secure this property and it was a pleasure to work with CPP in getting this over the line. Their speed in response and assistance on detail matters was first class.”

The property will become Workplatform’s headquarters and regional training centre, having relocated from Sinfin Lane in Barrow Upon Trent.
