On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

The Nottingham and Leicester offices of law firm Gateley have announced two promotions.

Corporate lawyer Paul Simpson, who advises on the full range of corporate matters, including private equity, MBIs and MBOs, acquisitions and disposals, is promoted to legal director. Real Estate lawyer Charlotte Chapman, who has been with the firm since qualifying in 2010 and whose specialisms include pension scheme property work and portfolio management, has been promoted to associate.

In Leicester, Gateley has promoted two lawyers in its commercial dispute resolution team. Claire Herbert has been promoted to senior associate, and Natalie Howes has been promoted to associate.

The firm has grown considerably over the last twelve months, and these promotions are evidence of the talent currently within the firm, and the expertise we are able to deliver to our clients.”

A former refugee volunteer, has joined business gifts and promotional merchandise specialists, Pellacraft as an account executive.

Tai’ Moor Anwar has spent the last year travelling between the UK, France and Greece leading a team of first aiders and doing all of the web and media related work for a charity which he co-founded called Refugee Crisis Foundation. The charity focuses on delivering first aid, medical and dental care for refugees in crisis.

Tai’, who has a strong background in project management grew up in London and now lives in Mansfield.

In his new role at Pellacraft, Tai’ will be helping to increase sales by developing new, dormant and existing customer accounts.
