Leicester offshore supplier offloads subsidiary

Leicester-based Guidance Marine, the supplier of position measurement technologies for high value offshore marine markets, has sold its subsidiary Guidance Automation to Matthews International Corporation for an undisclosed sum.

Since December 2014 Guidance Automation has been operating as an independent company out of its own premises in Leicester serving clients with navigation products and services for self-guided autonomous, land-based vehicles. The firm says it will now extend its market reach in indoor logistics and warehousing applications.
