Direct mail firm readies administrators
A Nottinghamshire direct mail provider is facing an uncertain future, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
The Mailshop, which is based in Hucknall, has posted a notice of intention to appoint administrators via law Shoosmiths. The move protects the firm from creditor action for a period of around ten days.
FRP Advisory has been lined up to be appointed administrators according to legal documents.
The Mailshop was formed in 2008 after a merger between Mailwrights Direct Mail and JS Direct Mail.
In its latest available accounts, made up to 31 July 2022, the firm’s profit and loss account showed a total of just £15,451 – down from £504,555.
The Mailshop employed 48 people at the time.
