Leicester law firm moves to new HQ

A Leicester-based law firm has relocated to a larger head office at Meridian Business Park, with the backing of a six figure funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Bank.
Lawson-West Solicitors has been established in the East Midlands for almost 40 years and has offices in Wigston, Market Harborough and Leicester. The firm provides commercial and private legal services including conveyancing, employment, litigation and personal injury.
Lawson-West Solicitors outgrew its previous location on Uppingham Road. The firm says the move to a larger site has allowed the firm to expand its team and diversify its services.
David Heys, managing director of Lawson West Solicitors, said: “Relocating our business to modern offices with great client facilities, such as easy parking and Wi-Fi was a natural step for us as we have been looking to grow and take on clients from the local area.
“Our new head office will allow us to strengthen our links with local businesses and the community by providing the highest quality expertise and a larger range of services. We are looking forward to working with Lloyds Bank in the future to continue growing our business.”
Steve Jackson, relationship manager at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking added: “We are committed to supporting professional service firms like Lawson-West Solicitors as they realise their growth ambitions. We have a team of sector experts who are on hand to provide guidance and tailored funding for each step of the firms journey.
“The funding allows the business to focus on the steps it needs to take to achieve its goals and grow its client base. We have pledged to increase our lending to SMEs on a net basis by more than £1billion this year, to help more businesses fulfil their potential.”
