Nottingham lightning protection firm sold for £1m

Nimbus Lightning Protection, an installer and maintainer of lightning protection and earthing systems based in Nottingham, has been sold for £1m.

The firm has been bought by Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) of Castleford.

Revenues at Nimbus for the year ended 31 December 2015 were £1.4m, producing a profit before tax of £300,000.

Directors Darren Stapleton and Lisa Mucznik will continue in their current roles at Nimbus, which will be integrated into PTSG’s Electrical Services Division. The remaining previous owners of Nimbus are retiring.
