A Nottingham law firm is ready to create jobs in its planning department just one year after it was formed.

Roythornes, based on Park Row, says it wants to add to is planning expertise after quarupling its team over the last year.

New recruits will expand the current team that was set up 12 months ago, when partner, Shruti Trivedi, joined the firm. She joined Roythornes from Shakespeare Martineau where she was a legal director, and prior to that, a senior associate with the national planning team Eversheds.

Trivedi said: “Roythornes employs experts in several fields, such as agriculture, healthcare, food and drink, renewable energy, and the third sector. Our partner-led approach means cases receive expert attention from beginning to end, giving clients a genuinely tailored approach, and the best chance of success. This is part of a wider recruitment drive for the office, which will see growth in other departments too.

“Our region is currently enjoying a period of growth, both in terms of newly-built properties and regeneration of brown field sites. Now is the ideal time to expand our planning team and provide much-needed advice and expertise in Nottingham and the across the East Midlands.”
