Nottingham bank moves offices

A Nottingham city centre bank has moved offices in a property deal brokered by NG Chartered Surveyors.
International bank Handelsbanken has moved into the former UHY Hacker Young offices at 22a the Ropewalk.
Richard Sutton, director at NG, said: “The 2,250 sq ft office has terrific views over The Park and out toward the airport and is on one of the most sought after positions in the city’s professional quarter.”
Sutton completed the search and acquisition on behalf of the Bank and in doing the deal ticked all the boxes for its future plans. The office suite was fully refurbished by Handelsbanken.
He added: “This deal goes to show the value of building long-term relationships with occupiers, and this, with our market knowledge of available high-quality office space in Nottingham city centre, enabled us to complete a deal that has satisfied all parties involved.”
Larick Walker, branch manager at Handelsbanken said: “It was great to be able to rely on the professional support of a trusted partner with the difficult search for suitable space to become our long term home. NG in our eyes came up trumps in sourcing space that indeed ticked all of our key requirements.”
Geo Hallam acted for the landlord on the deal.
