Lucky 13 for accountancy grads

Deloitte in Nottingham has welcomed 13 of the best and the brightest from universities, colleges and schools across the UK as part of the firm’s 2015 graduate and BrightStart intake.

The students will work across the firm’s audit, tax, actuarial and corporate finance service divisions as well as a host of other departments. Each student will undertake a practical and theoretical training programme, ensuring a thorough understanding of the business alongside development of key skills.

Neil Cruickshanks, partner in Charge for Deloitte in Nottingham, said: “We are really pleased to have welcomed such a talented crop of new joiners and to see them choosing Nottingham as the place to start their career.”

“Two have joined us as a result of the BrightStart programme, which creates a path for high-achieving school and college leavers to enter the work place directly, instead of taking the traditional route via university.”

More than half of the graduates join from local universities; five from the University of Nottingham and one from the University of Loughborough.
