JLT posts revenue growth as it expands into US

JLT, the insurance giant which has an office in Nottingham, has revealed its year-end results this morning (1st March).

For the year-ending 31st December 2015, JLT saw revenues climb by 5 per cent to £1.16bn. Profits fell slightly by 7 per cent to £170.1m – reflecting the company’s investment in its US expansion plans.

The company now employs 180 people in the US, in 13 locations.

Dominic Burke, Group chief executive, said: “The Group faces a number of external headwinds as we go into 2016. However, our focus remains on those factors that we can control and on maintaining the revenue momentum and cost control established over the last ten years. We remain confident in our strategy, our platform and our continued ability to grow.”
