B&M completes university refurb

Nottinghamshire-based B&M Installations has completed refurbishment works for the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Nottingham.

The 260 sq m student study space in the University’s Coates Building underwent a full refurbishment of three teaching spaces which saw removal of the existing partitions to re-configure the room layout. This provided the department with a larger and much needed Student Group Study Space, fully equipped and focusing on group working activities.

B&M has recently announced it had won a £1m contract working at the university’s Jubilee Campus.

B&M Installations’ sales executive Dan Belfield said: “We are delighted to complete another successful refurbishment for The University of Nottingham.

“These improvements are crucial for students and tutors alike, with the Engineering Faculty known around the globe for the inspirational teaching and exciting opportunities it brings.”

Stavros Pourikas, project manager at The University of Nottingham said: “The Engineering Department needed a dedicated study facility that could be accessed 24 hours a day. The space that B&M Installations has created for the university is fantastic and has proved hugely popular with students – it’s always busy.”
