On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

An expanding digital agency has taken on six new staff in six weeks and has promoted two senior managers.

Digital agency Fifteen, based in Ilkeston, now has 31 members of staff. The latest recruits to join the team are Jacqueline Smith, senior digital marketing executive, Alice Hooper, an account manager, Holly Law, a producer, Andrew Whitehead, a senior creative, Jake Rabjohns, a web developer and Martyn Locker, a web developer.

The team changes have also seen Matt Davies promoted to creative director. Davies joined the company from Nottingham based Attitude design which was acquired by Fifteen last year.

Julie Cannon joined the company in November as finance manager and has now been promoted to finance director. She said: “I was really overwhelmed with the promotion. I didn’t expect it so soon. I really like working for Fifteen and Ollie’s take on staff well-being. I look forward to growing with the business and taking on roles for the company in my position.”

Kate Bradshaw and Michael Burton

Mansfield-based business gifts and promotional merchandise suppliers Pellacraft has recruited Kate Bradshaw and Michael Burton to its graphic design team.

Bradshaw, holds a BA Hons degree in Design for Television after attending Nottingham Trent University. She started her working life as a TV propmaker at the BBC, but has spent the majority of her career in the greetings industry designing giftware. She joins the Pellacraft team after a stint working as a packaging designer for a leading fashion manufacturer.

Burton has also joined the design team. Michael, who lives in Chesterfield, holds a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia studies after achieving a distinction from West Nottinghamshire College. For the past five years he has been a freelance graphic designer and illustrator working with companies such as Red Lantern Digital Media, Cifci and the Triple S Sports Group. Prior to this, Burton worked as a sales operative in a call centre based in Chesterfield.

Sam Pella, director at Pellacraft, said: “We are very lucky to have acquired the skillsets of both Michael and Kate. Already they have proven to be an asset to the business and I’m looking forward to seeing how their creative abilities will enhance the quality of artwork we produce for our clients.”
