A1 closed in Nottinghamshire

The A1 in Nottinghamshire is currently closed northbound between the B6325 (North Muskham) and the A57 (Markham Moor) while Highways England assists police and emergency services with a serious collision.

Traffic is being diverted and should follow the Solid Square diversion symbol.

Exit the A1 northbound onto the B6325 southbound to South Muskham and join the A616 northbound. Continue through the villages of Kneesall and Ompton to Ollerton. At the A616/A6075 roundabout turn left onto the Ollerton Road and continue along the A616. At the A616/A614 roundabout turn right onto the A614 Blyth Road northbound and continue to re-join the A1 at Apleyhead Junction.
