Law firm expands Derby property team

The Derby office of leading law firm Freeths has grown its real estate team with the addition of Helen Pearson and Monika Holyst.
Pearson joins as an associate, having previously worked for Flint Bishop. Helen has a particular interest in property finance and works on varied property management matters including assignments of leases, sublettings and licences to alter. She acts for a range of clients from banks, pension funds and companies to small charities and individual commercial property owners.
Holyst joins as a solicitor after qualifying in early 2017. She is experienced in all aspects of real estate transactions, with a particular interest in the retail sector.
Darren Williamson, national head of real estate at Freeths, said: “Our Derby office has always been known for its strength in the property sector so it is great to see the team grow. I am sure both Helen and Monika will be assets to the team.”
