Auctioneer to mentor Derby fitness company

Auctioneer John Pye Auctions has announced that it will be supporting and mentoring one Midlands business a month, starting with Derby-based personal training centre Soul Fitness.
Soul Fitness, which specialises in women-only training, was founded by Helen Constant five years ago and has over 150 clients.
Since the company’s inception, Helen has been running group classes and personal training sessions and has ambitious plans to increase her client base by having more bigger venues and completing her vision of bringing high class quality classes into the community.
The initiative is part of John Pye Auctions’ 50th anniversary celebrations.
Adam Pye, managing director at John Pye Auctions, said: “We started as a small Midlands-based business ourselves, so we understand the unique challenges faced by sole traders and small teams in establishing a profitable business. We’re delighted to be able to offer advice and support where we can. It’s a great way to build our local communities together.
“Helen’s clients are so positive about the service she offers, and I think she has a brilliant business plan. I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for Soul Fitness.”
Nottingham-based John Pye Auctions has been providing Soul Fitness with expert marketing advice and will be promoting the business across its own channels.
Constant said: “The support from John Pye Auctions has been incredible and I’m already starting to see the results. I think it’s fantastic that they are supporting a different business each month and the advice and knowledge that they’re sharing is invaluable.
“I’m extremely passionate about what I do and I have a loyal customer base, but the challenge is getting new people through the door. John Pye Auctions has been showing me how to utilise the tools available to me to advertise the business. Since the introduction of the small group training sessions from my house which are proving to be highly successful, my aim with the help of John Pye is to bring that vibe of the small group sessions into the bigger venues and to grow the external business.”
She continued: “I often see the big mainstream gym brands giving away freebies to new customers when they sign up. However, I think it’s important to reward those clients and customers who you have worked hard developing a long-term relationship with and who have supported you with their repeat business. These are the customers who deserve the rewards and I have found that these loyalty initiatives really do work.”
