East Mids catering equipment company enters administration

Noble Express, the Northampton-based supplier of catering equipment and cleaning chemicals to the hospitality industry, has slipped into administration.

According to administrators, the company has experienced difficult trading conditions over the past two years, which affected cashflow and led to the appointment of PBC Business Recovery and Insolvency last week.

Administrator Gavin Bates of PBC says he is hopeful that a buyer can be found, and the firm is continuing to trae.

Bates said: “Noble Express is well-known in the industry and consequently this has generated some interest in the purchase of the business. We remain hopeful that we can secure the right buyer and Noble Express will be able to continue to build its reputation in the hospitality sector.”

Two people have been made redundant, but the remaining five staff have been kept on to assist with continued trading under the management of the administrators.
