Software firm relocates to Ashby after 13,000 sq ft office deal

Software firm EQ Software has relocated from Loughborough to Ivanhoe Business Park in Ashby de la Zouch after moving into 13,000 sq ft offices in the town.

The deal sees the firm shift to CWC Group’s development in a deal brokered by FHP Property Consultants.

EQ Software provides software for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom market.

Tim Gilbertson of FHP Property Consultants, who acted for CWC Group, said: “From our very first meeting with EQ Software an excellent working relationship was established as their needs and requirements for good quality space at the best price possible were mirrored by the ethos our clients, CWC Group, bring to every deal they do.

“As a result of the synergy between both developer and occupier, terms were quickly agreed for the bespoke built development of 13,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, set over two floors on Ivanhoe Business Park, Ashby’s premier location just off the A42.

“By relocating to Ashby, EQ Software ensured that their valued staff were retained with the move to a site a short distance from their previous Loughborough base whilst also providing a bespoke working environment in a fantastic building with extensive car parking, remaining within easy reach of the town centre and all facilities contained there.”

James Richards, development director of CWC Group, said: “This is the biggest office deal that we have completed now at Ivanhoe Business Park, seeing over 13,000 sq ft of Grade A space sold to EQ Software.
