On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Nottingham-based engineering consultancy firm Millward has appointed Laura Shaw as its new business development and marketing manager.

Shaw has 10 years’ marketing and business development experience in the construction industry, working for contractors both locally and nationally.

“I am delighted that Laura has joined the Millward team,” said Nicola Millward, the company’s managing director. “She will be playing a key role in helping to grow the business further.”

Shaw said: “Millward is a progressive and innovative company and I am looking forward to working with the team.”

William Davis Homes has appointed Fay Bullock has appointed a new sales consultant at its Grange Park scheme in Loughborough.

She said: “I love the job as it’s not just about selling houses, but also being able to help people find the right home to suit their needs. We see the whole range of buyers, from young couples starting out in their first home together, through growing families, to downsizers looking for the perfect place to retire. It’s really rewarding work.”
