Over half of former 3aaa trainees still without a provider

Over half the apprentices that were under the wing of failed Derby training firm 3aaa are still without a new provider, according to reports.

FE Week says that 4,216 apprentices were left high and dry after 3aaa went into administration in October of last year.

Skills Minister Anne Milton says only 45%, or 1,892, of trainees have found a new provider.

Some 500 jobs were lost after training provider 3aaa went into administration last year.
