Funds for Pattonair’s new £20m HQ approved

Supply chain firm Pattonair’s move into a huge new office and warehouse development has been approved by Derby City Council.

The move comes after Derby City Councils Cabinet approved the £19.3m needed to build the scheme at Infinity Park Derby.

The new building will be made up of an 80,000 sq ft warehouse, 15,000 sq ft of office space, with a further 30,000 sq ft of mezzanine offices within the warehouse. The Council says it has negotiated terms with the developers for the site, Infinity Park Derby.

Pattonair provides distribution and supply chain management services to the aerospace and defence sectors. It employs 600 people in Derby.

Pattonair currently employs 1,100 people globally, with 600 employees in Derby. The company says its aim is to consolidate all Derby activities into the single aerospace campus at Infinity Park once fully operational in 2021.

Pattonair chief executive Wayne Hollinshead said: “We’re delighted that Derby City Council cabinet has approved the proposal to develop a new facility at Infinity Park. We look forward to a successful partnership with Derby City Council to execute this next chapter for Pattonair, cementing our position in Derby to deliver world class supply chain solutions for our customers.

“This new site approximately doubles our Derby operational capacity and will provide state of the art facilities to support our ambitious UK growth plans for the next 25 years.”
