Luxury clothing brand to open in Bakewell

High-end clothig brand Seasalt has announced that it will be opening a new shop in Bakewell on Saturday (6 April) following work with Marketing Derby as part of its Invest in Derbyshire service.

Seasalt said it was drawn to the character of the town, along with its historical landmarks.

Maya Yates from Marketing Derby said: “Marketing Derby and Invest in Derbyshire are delighted to have supported Seasalt in coming to Derbyshire, creating jobs and bringing a welcome new retail offer to the market town of Bakewell.”

Seasalt co-founder and chairman, Neil Chadwick, said: “We’re really happy to be able to bring Seasalt to a the beautiful town of Bakewell. It’s a brilliant location with many similarities to our small Cornish towns, with breath-taking scenery and a happy, relaxed atmosphere. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to our new shop.”

Seasalt will open on Saturday at Unit 1 Devonshire Chambers.
