Beer and gin festival returns to Derbyshire leisure complex

Derbyshire hotel and leisure complex Morley Hayes has announced the return of its Beer and Gin festival, with an eight-day event taking place over the May Bank Holiday.

The festival is taking place in the Old Stables Bar, a refurbished barn at the complex on Main Road in Morley, from Thursday 23 May to Thursday 30 May, with live music and entertainment on Bank Holiday Monday 27 May.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the very best beers that Derbyshire and the surrounding areas have to offer, whilst gin lovers can have their taste buds tantalised by 100 different gins from around the world, including several from local distilleries in Derbyshire, Nottingham, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

The Beer and Gin Festival opens at 6pm on Thursday 23rd May with the bar set to close at 11pm every evening except Sunday 26th when the bar will close at 10.30pm.

Opening times vary throughout the week with a 3pm opening on Friday 24th, a 2pm opening on Saturday 25th, a start time of 12pm on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th, and 6pm from Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th.

Admission to the event is free.
