Eight promoted at law firm

Law firm Gateley has announced eight promotions across the East Midlands, including three to partner.

The lawyer promotions span Gateley’s Corporate, Family, Real Estate, Employment and Commercial Dispute Resolution (CDR) teams across the group’s Nottingham and Leicester offices.

Nottingham-based Victoria Elliott and Beth Mather are both promoted to partner in Gateley’s Corporate team with real estate lawyer Tertia Werry promoted to senior associate and employment lawyer Helen Webster promoted to associate.

Andrew Macmillan, partner and head of Gateley’s Nottingham office, said: “I’m delighted to announce these promotions at the end of what has been an incredibly busy year. As the company continues to grow, it becomes increasingly important that we retain the region’s top talent, in order to deliver the best service for our clients. These promotions reward those who have performed well over the course of the year.”

In Leicester, Gateley has promoted two lawyers in its CDR team. Claire Herbert has been promoted to partner, and Natalie Howes has been promoted to senior associate. Real Estate lawyer Melissa Chantrill is promoted to senior associate and family lawyer Amrit Hunjin is promoted to associate.
