Water treatment company follows flow out of city centre

SMS Environmental has relocated from Derby city centre to Ednaston Park

Specialist water treatment company SMS Environmental has relocated eight miles out of Derby city centre to the Ednaston Park serviced office scheme.

The company moved out after outgrowing its Friar Gate premises.

Ednaston Park is a former nursing home on the A52 between Derby and Ashbourne that was purchased by property developer CWC Group two years ago. It was converted into 20,000 sw ft of serviced office space.

Lucy Delaney, business centre manager at Ednaston Park, said: “To see so many local businesses making the decision to relocate from Derby city centre reflects the fantastic refurbishment programme that has been carried out, along with the quality of the office space and other services and facilities here.”

SMS Environmental is headquartered in Oxfordshire and has other regional offices in Cardiff and Glasgow.

Jordan Allsop, account manager, at SMS Environmental, added: “It’s an exciting time for the business and we’re looking forward to making the most of their great facilities and enjoying the beautiful landscaped gardens here.”
