Long delays on M1 after three lanes closed
Highways England is reporting long delays on the M1 during the evening rush hour in the East Midlands.
On the M1 northbound between junctions 23 and 24 in Leicestershire and Derbyshire, there are tailbacks delays following an earlier collision which had closed three lanes.
A statement from Highways England said: “It’ll take time for the delays to ease: please continue to allow plenty of extra time for your journey. “
