A Nottingham-based contractor has been awarded a £10.5 million heating maintenance contract spanning northern central England.

J Tomlinson will be delivering heating maintenance and repairs for Bromford, one of the largest housing associations in the UK. The work will span all the way from Erewash in Derbyshire to South Staffordshire, with the contract beginning this September.

Steve Kirkland, maintenance director at J Tomlinson, said: “We are very much looking forward to continuing to work closely with Bromford and its customers to deliver an excellent service, characterised by quality workmanship, a dedication to compliance, and a compassionate, customer-centric ethos.”

Tracy Potter, senior contracts manager at Bromford, added: “We have a long relationship with J Tomlinson and are delighted to be working with them again to deliver excellent services to our customers to ensure their homes are safe and warm.”

The appointment is the Beeston-headquartered firm’s largest gas contract to date.
