Family-owned house builder invests £13m in East Midlands

Staffordshire-based house building company Cameron Homes has invested around £13 million in the East Midlands in the space of a single year, and is now looking to continue its expansion in the region.
Cameron, which opened its East Midlands office at Castle Donington in October 2018, has started work on four new housing developments in Aston on Trent, Brailsford, Hulland Ward and Repton and is planning a further development at Breedon on the Hill in the early part of 2020.
The firm has also acquired more sites in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and is expected to create new jobs as it continues to grow.
Regional director Steve Cassie said: “We launched our East Midlands division to facilitate growth into Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire – investing around £13m into the region in our initial year here.
“It has been a very good first 12 months in business, with new jobs being created both in the office and on site, and we are continuing to recruit, with a range of vacancies outlined on our website.”
