On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
FHP Living Lettings has added to its West Bridgford branch with a new hire.
The firm has appointed Nicola Thorpe as property consultant.
Thorpe said: “This new role is an excellent opportunity for me to not only broaden my knowledge and skills, but to also help house hunters find their next dream home. A big part of my new role will be negotiating with landlords, as well as forging relationships with new ones in order to boost our property portfolio.
“I am excited to start this new chapter of my career and cannot wait to build on and strengthen our already expansive West Bridgford offering.”
Josh Toon
Derby-based project manager and construction cost consultant Armsons has welcomed back a former trainee into a senior role.
Josh Toon joined the firm in 2011 as a trainee quantity surveyor, during which time he also studied for a five-year part-time degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Nottingham Trent University.
He left Armsons in late 2017 to join Loughborough-based Edward Cooper Young Chartered Surveyors, where he progressed to senior surveyor.
He now re-joins the team at Armsons as an associate director.
Toon said: “It’s exciting to be back at Armsons taking on new responsibilities amongst so many familiar faces.”
