Law firm expands commercial team

Geldards' Midlands commercial team

Geldards has bolstered its offering in the Midlands with two key hires, and is now planning to move its commercial team into Nottingham.

Daniel Greatorex and William Occleston have both joined the law firm on a permanent basis. They will work under partner Michelle Craven-Faulkner in a commercial team consisting of partner Jamie Goldberg, solicitors Joel Murphie and Ellis Pugh and trainee solicitor Yasmine Roff.

Following a 28 per cent spike in revenue, the team is looking to expand into Nottingham from its Derby base in order to split the workload between teams across both offices.

Geldards’ commercial team retained its Tier 1 status in this year’s Legal 500. Craven-Faulkner was named as a recommended lawyer and Goldberg was identified as a leading individual for sport.

Craven-Faulkner said: “I’m so proud to head up such a wonderful and hardworking team; the increasing strength of our of team is a real testament to its members, as it shows the hard work and high quality advice they deliver to our clients every day is impactful and allows our clients to see us as trusted advisors.

“As one of the largest commercial law teams in the East Midlands, I am excited to see what the future brings and look forward to expanding our services across both offices. The Geldards’ commercial team work very hard for our clients and I would like to thank each member for always giving their all.”
