A1 reopens following flooding

The A1 in Nottinghamshire has re-opened northbound between the B6325 near North Muskham and the B1164 near Tuxford.

The road was closed following extensive flooding across the carriageway.

A statement from Highways England said: “For traffic approaching the delays locally, you are advised to expect disruption with extra journey time and you may wish to re-route or delay your journey.”
